The Vision

From survival to self-reliance.

Empowering women is not only a matter of social justice — it is a catalyst for positive change within families and communities. Our Livelihood Generation initiatives equip marginalized women with the necessary skills, resources, and support to become financially independent.

We provide comprehensive vocational training programs tailored to local opportunities and market demands, such as livestock rearing, sustainable farming practices, and entrepreneurship development.

Our goal is to enable sustainable incomes leading to economic upliftment, enabling Dalit and Janajati families to break the cycle of extreme poverty.

The Model

Self-Help Groups: The engine of change.

20 groups across Ward 7 and Ward 12 hold monthly meetings focused on saving, loans, and skill-sharing.

💰 Collective Savings

Groups hold regular monthly meetings focused on saving and loan transactions. Members contribute regularly, building a shared pool of resources accessible to all.

🏦 Micro-Loans

Loans are issued based on individual business plans for new enterprises and urgent medical needs, ensuring women can access capital on their own terms.

🐔 Livestock Rearing

40+ women engaged in poultry farming, 40 in goat-rearing. These livelihood activities generate sustainable income while building practical animal husbandry skills.

🌿 Kitchen Gardens

60+ women grow vegetables in kitchen gardens. Produce feeds families, supplies school midday meal programs, and generates income from local market sales.

🧠 Business Training

5 business trainings and 2 kitchen gardening sessions equip women with practical skills in record-keeping, market access, pricing, and sustainable enterprise management.

🤝 Peer Solidarity

Groups serve as platforms for knowledge sharing, confidence-building, and fostering a spirit of solidarity — building power not just for income, but for collective voice.
